Flagship Showroom Opens in NYC

MADERA is proud to announce the opening of our flagship showroom in the heart of the Flatiron District in New York City. Situated in a landmarked building (circa 1843) in the “Ladies’ Mile Historic District”, 909 Broadway features a historic storefront and façade and is designed in collaboration with Métier Design House. We are excited to share this space with you; a project born of a deep reverence for wood in all its forms

Upon entering, you will be greeted by a 19 foot live edge slab of Belgian Oak, an homage to the majestic beauty of Quercus Robur (European Oak). The entire ground floor is clad in various width planks of Belgian Oak and finished in Thrasher and Blue Jay natural oils. A custom-made credenza anchors this room and within, one discovers the full range of finishing possibilities.

Walking up to the second floor, you will be immersed in beautiful Douglas Fir from the Pacific Northwest. Wide plank (13 inches to be exact!) Douglas Fir floor planks sit beneath Solid Douglas Fir benches and custom designed modular tables complete the room. This space is both cozy and inviting and is where dinners, presentations and events will be held.

Finally, the third-floor office space showcases the possibility of patterns with a classic French Oak Chevron. Nothing was overlooked and you will even discover the elevator cab clad in Indigo Ash planks to tie in the powder room’s striking Calico Wallpaper.

It was our intent to design and curate a different kind of showroom experience, a space that showcases our ethos; hand-crafted, high quality luxury design that is both thoughtful and timeless. That is why we are honored to currently feature Brendan Ravenhill Studio lighting and Calico Wallpaper; the lounge chairs on the first floor are by Ben Erickson of Erickson Aesthetics, hand block printed textiles and print are by Blockshop Textiles and the custom paintings are by Kristin Washco from we-MāK

Our new home isn’t just a showroom; it’s a place to surround oneself with the beauty of wood, craftsmanship and unlimited possibility. We look forward to seeing you here!
